Testimonies

I have been greatly impressed by your book.

It is very well done, and I know it will be of great help to others. It would be ideal for parent study groups. It would do a splendid job of alerting them to their responsibilities, as well as their privileges.

I like its Bible Centeredness. Your scriptures are well chosen.

God has given you a very special talent; one you are doing well to share it with your family. The time will come when your home duties lighten so you can carry the message to others.

You have put First Things first, and later opportunities will open for you to help others.

May God ever bless you and use you in His service.

You are one of his serving servants.

Sincerely,

Rev. Orville Nelson

Dearest Kym,

My hat’s off to you! Your Bible Study Women: Living Life on Purpose is fabulous! You go, Girl! Your selection of scriptures was excellent. And your “heart” really showed through on every page.

Having “worked” myself, I could relate to lots and lots of your mentioned issues. Often what you wrote was what I felt.

In His Love,

Julie

Dear Kym,

I really enjoyed the Bible Study so much. Each chapter ministered to me. I’m learning to do what I can and don’t feel guilting about the things I don’t get to. I got that from one of the lessons. That really helped me a lot. God has really given you talent, wisdom, strength, and courage. Thanks for sharing it. May all the glory go to God in Jesus’ name for what He has done. If you ever come to town, I would love to meet you.

Love in Christ,

Kim McElreath

Dear Kym,

Although many of the topics discussed in this study were beyond my years in motherhood, I was able to learn much about children that will eventually apply to my skills as a mother. I specifically enjoyed the chapter on discipline and your explanation of the difference between discipline and punishment.

The chapters, “Attitudes: Frame of Mind” and “The Spoken Word” provided me with specific areas in my own relationship to my husband and child to be evaluated. God opened my heart up to weaknesses I have which hinder me from being the wife and mother I need to be, as well as helped me find ways to overcome these weaknesses.

I greatly appreciated the chapters that focused on motherhood, “God’s Gift: Motherhood” and the marriage relationship, “Honoring My Husband.” even though keeping a good relationship with my children is important, I feel more attention needed to be on the spousal relationship.

Overall, I feel this study was very informative and encouraging to all women who question their purpose in life and their calling. It was good to be reminded of how motherhood is neither a chore or burden, but a challenge and special privilege given to us by God.

Thank you, Kym, for your ministry through writing.

In Christ,

Tamera Perry

Dear Kym,

What a blessing! Our Ladies’ Bible Study took your Women: Living Life on Purpose this past year.

I enjoyed the study very much. I especially liked the strong and thorough emphasis on scripture in each chapter. In addition, I so appreciated your openness and transparent approach to some very challenging areas of motherhood. I am the mother of four-year-old twins and a one-year-old. So, as you can see, my hands are full and I gleaned so much from this study.

Thank you for enriching and touching my life in a special way.

God bless you always!

Terri
